"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."

Hey Crew!

Merry Christmas!

I hope you are holding a hot cup of coffee (or tea!), sitting somewhere cozy, and feeling the love that surrounds you today.

I know the holidays can be complicated. There’s the joy, the lights, and the music, but for us, there’s often a quiet shadow, too. The empty chairs, the scanxiety, the what ifs.

But as I look back on this year, I am overwhelmed by the light.

It has been a year of massive growth for our community, but more than that, it has been a year of waking up. We’ve laughed together, we’ve cried together, and we’ve learned that we are so much more powerful than we were ever told.

So many times, I had the immense privilege of sitting down with so many of you to hear your stories, your struggles, and more importantly, your victories.

I wanted to take this opportunity to remember five conversations that helped shift my perspective and I hope shifted yours.

These stories are a reminder of what is possible when you trust your gut and find your courage.

1. Dustin Heiner

I still think about Dustin’s story all the time. After losing his mother to lung cancer and seeing the toll the chemo took, he faced the exact same diagnosis with his father. But this time, they chose a different path.

Dustin went down the rabbit hole and found Fenbendazole. It sounds crazy, a dewormer?

But he learned it works by destroying the cancer's microtubules and starving it of glucose.

Watching his dad go from a bloody cough to a clear scan, tumor markers dropping from 12 to 6, was a testament to asking questions.

It reminded us that sometimes the answer isn’t in the standard of care; it’s hidden in the research, waiting for us to find it.

2. Chris Wark

We talk so much about supplements and protocols, but Chris Wark stopped me in my tracks when he talked about forgiveness.

He explained that holding onto anger keeps our bodies in a chronic state of fight or flight, flooding us with stress hormones and shutting down our immune system.

Hearing him explain it biologically, that forgiveness is actually a signal to your body that it is safe to heal, helped change my perspective. It’s not just spiritual, it’s cellular.

He also blew my mind about the nuances of Keto and metastasis, reminding us there is no silver bullet!.

3. Roger Rasmussen

If you ever feel like you need permission to get a test, remember Roger.

This man paid for nine of his own MRIs. He didn’t wait for a doctor to sign a slip. He didn’t wait for insurance. He realized that he needed the data to trust his protocol, so he went to a private clinic and got it.

Roger taught us that we can be the world’s leading expert on our own bodies. We hold the keys, and the data.

Ways to Give Hope

If you’re looking for meaningful ways to help, here are three options:

1.Sponsor a Membership: Give someone the gift of community, care, and encouragement through CancerCrew+.

2.Apply for Community Membership: If you or someone you know could use support, apply to be matched with a sponsor.

3.Join the CancerCrew Retreat: We’re hosting our first-ever CancerCrew Retreat this January 2026 and we’d love to invite you to join us.

4. Kelle Olsen

Kelle is pure radiance, but her prognosis a year ago was terrifying. Facing a metastatic recurrence, she decided to change her internal terrain.

She introduced me to "Vitamin G" or gratitude. Before she even gets out of bed, she lists what she’s grateful for to stop that morning cortisol spike.

Combined with her red light therapy and grounding, she went from a two years to live prognosis to hearing her doctor tell her she is NED. She is living proof that we can build a body that welcomes health and rejects disease.

5. Rebecca Ortiz

And finally, Rebecca. When her doctors told her to take a drug that would ruin her quality of life for a mere 7% statistical gain, she said no.

She trusted her intuition, even when it was scary. And when the cancer came back in her bones, feeling like she was burning from the inside, she didn’t panic, she got to work.

She built a protocol that dropped her liver enzymes from 160 to 68 in weeks and cleared her PET scan.

She reminded us that we are not statistics. We are individuals, and our intuition is often the most sophisticated diagnostic tool we have.

These stories are the heartbeat of the Cancer Crew. They prove that there is no one right way, there is only your way.

If you are feeling the call to dive deeper, to access the full interviews, and to connect with a community that actually gets it, we would love to see you inside Cancer Crew+

This is where the real work happens. It’s where we share the specific dosages, the nuanced protocols, and the victories without fear of judgment.

I am so honored to be on this journey with you, and I wish everyone a wo Christmas!

With heart,
Carli
